Overview
Shiharr Publishing Limited is an open access academic publishing platform offering researchers an end-to-end online service covering submission, peer review and publication.
The platform supports the international dissemination of scholarly work across the sciences, engineering, humanities and social sciences. All journals are open access: articles are freely available to read, download, cite and share immediately upon publication.
Built on Open Journal Systems (OJS) with a custom unified submission workflow, the platform parses metadata and checks submission materials automatically, lowering the barrier to submission.
Peer Review
All submissions undergo rigorous peer review: an initial editorial screening, followed by review by subject experts, revision in consultation with the authors, and a final decision by the editorial board.
Review is single-blind. Reviewer comments are consolidated by the editorial office and forwarded to the authors. Review timelines are announced by each journal.
Publishing Agreement
Shiharr Publishing respects authors' copyright and personal data. Authors retain copyright and grant the platform the right to publish and disseminate the work under open access.
Published articles are licensed under Creative Commons terms (CC BY by default), stated on the article itself. Simultaneous or duplicate submission is prohibited.
For full copyright and licensing details, see each journal's About page (All Journals)。
Open Access
In line with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), open access means free availability on the public internet: any user may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full text for lawful scholarly purposes without financial, legal or technical barriers.
The platform operates a gold open access model: no subscription or pay-per-view fees. Publishing costs are covered by reasonable article processing charges (APC) or funder support, as stated on each journal's pages.
Preservation & Corrections
The platform is committed to the integrity of the scholarly record and adopts the following measures for errors found in published articles:
- Wording issues: corrected by the editorial office with a note;
- Corrigendum: a formal notice for typesetting or content errors;
- Retraction: articles with substantive errors are retracted with a published notice;
- Removal: records are taken down for rights or compliance reasons.
These measures correct the record and inform readers rather than penalise authors; they are overseen by the editors.
